The platform integrates proven, off-the-shelf instruments into one unattended cell. A uFactory Lite 6 six-axis arm handles vials, pistons and lids. A peristaltic pump fills and purges the viscometer. A piston viscometer measures dynamic viscosity, and a circulating bath provides closed-loop temperature control.

Why integration is the value

None of the parts are exotic — the advantage is that they work together. The cell measures, re-ranges and temperature-controls itself, so identical conditions are applied to every sample, run after run.

From cell to dataset

Everything is coordinated over serial by a single MATLAB program that live-plots the curve and logs each point to Excel.
